Summary
Dani has to get away- away from a tight lipped mother, a brother who died. Dani plans a most amazing trip so no one can find her. She decides to hike the Appalachian Trail, the whole trail, from Georgia to Maine. This is the trail where her parents met, fell in love, and even married.

Dani is extermely courageous.How could a girl do all that hard stuff.How could she run away like that.Being on the trail with storms and lightning!It is a great book for people who love adventure and action stories.Half way to the sky is a very good book!
I think it was very interesting to read I recomend it for powerful readers.
